In a recent press conference, US President Joe Biden responded to media queries, many of which questioned his ability to continue serving as president. “They say I am in good shape,” Biden remarked, referring to assessments by his doctors. However, he mistakenly referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as ‘Trump’. Earlier that evening, he had also erroneously referred to Ukraine’s President as ‘Putin’.

In other news, police in Northern Eskilstuna, Sweden were alerted to a shooting incident overnight. The shots were reportedly fired at an apartment door.

Finally, it is expected that by the end of summer, 3,000 Ukrainian prisoners will be sent to the front lines, following the passage of a new law earlier this year. Prisoners convicted of serious offenses such as multiple murders or sexual crimes will not be considered for this.
