The top candidates for the position of rector at Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) have been identified. The finalists include Mika Hannula, Vice-Rector of the University of Turku; Jari Multisilta, rector and CEO of Satakunta University of Applied Sciences; Marja Sutela, Vice-Rector for Education at Tampere University; and Kirsi Viskari, rector of the Tampere Region Vocational Institute TREDU.
On Monday, the candidates participated in a panel discussion aimed at the staff and students of the Tampere higher education community. The TAMK board has stated that it will make a decision regarding the appointment of the new rector-CEO as soon as possible.
