Rúsan revenue requirement increases to 20.2 million krónur in Faroese budget for 2025

The demand for revenue from the Faroese state alcohol company, Rúsan, is set to increase according to the proposed budget for 2025.

The current revenue requirement is 18.6 million Danish krónur and will rise to 20.2 million next year—an increase of 1.6 million krónur.

Rúsan operates eight retail stores located in Tórshavn, Vestmanna, Saltangará, Klaksvík, Trongisvágur, Miðvágur, Sandi, and Norðskála. Additionally, the company has its main office at Skálatrøð in Tórshavn, along with a storage facility in Hoyvík at Hjalla.

The alcohol company also serves as the administrative office for the Faroese Licensing Board.
