Fuel prices decline in Finland as September averages drop significantly

In September, the average prices of fuel continued to decline compared to August, according to recent data from Statistics Finland. The average price of diesel, including taxes, was €1.70 per liter. The average price for 95-octane gasoline was €1.80, while 98-octane gasoline averaged €1.90. All three fuel types saw a decrease of five cents from August.

Prices have also significantly dropped compared to September of the previous year. The average price of diesel fell by 16.6%, 95-octane gasoline decreased by 12.2%, and 98-octane gasoline dropped by 11.6%.
