Helicopter dispatched after ATV accident in South Iceland

A helicopter from the Icelandic Coast Guard was dispatched early this afternoon in response to an ATV accident in South Iceland. One person sustained injuries and was transported by the helicopter to the emergency department for treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
