Finland’s Parliament discusses government economic proposals amid projected budget deficit

Today, Finland’s Parliament is discussing the government’s economic proposals. The focus is on the government’s draft budget for the upcoming year. According to the proposal, the budget is projected to have a deficit of over 12 billion euros. Government expenditures are estimated to be nearly 89 billion euros, while revenues are expected to exceed 76 billion euros.

The Parliament is scheduled to approve the budget for next year in December, at which point final decisions regarding the state budget will be made.
