Police investigate firearms offense and attempted murder at apartment building in Hyvinkää

On Monday morning, the police in East Uusimaa responded to a serious incident involving life and health at an apartment building on Vieremänkatu in Hyvinkää. The police received the call around 6:30 AM.

According to initial reports, gunfire was exchanged between individuals inside the apartment and someone outside the building. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the situation. Authorities have detained several individuals as part of the investigation, as stated by Chief Inspector Anssi Murto in a press release.
