Electricity prices expected to rise to 32.67 cents per kilowatt-hour in Nordic countries

The price of exchange electricity is set to rise to 32.67 cents per kilowatt-hour on Sunday evening. According to price data from the Nordic Nordpool electricity market, the highest rates will occur between 7 PM and 9 PM, exceeding 30 cents. The average price for Sunday is projected to be 12.11 cents per kilowatt-hour, in contrast to just 2.47 cents on Saturday. Factors influencing the electricity price include wind power production. According to Fingrid’s forecast, wind energy generation is expected to remain below 400 megawatt-hours on Sunday.
