Elder Council elections postponed in Oslo as only three candidates emerge

The deadline for nominations on September 12 saw only three candidates come forward for the Elder Council elections. Five members, along with three alternates, are to be elected.

The city council decided yesterday to postpone the election for the Elder Council, which will likely take place after the municipal elections on November 12.

Additionally, the regulations governing the Elder Council will be reviewed ahead of the election.
