Two individuals arrested in drug trafficking investigation in Reykjavik

Earlier this week, two individuals were arrested and ordered to be held in custody for a week by the District Court of Reykjavik as part of an ongoing police investigation into drug trafficking in the capital region. One of the suspects was released from police custody earlier today.

According to a police statement, authorities seized over one kilogram of cocaine that had arrived in the country via a postal shipment. The investigation into the case is reportedly progressing well.
