Mild weather continues across Scandinavia as high-pressure system holds firm

Today, a slow-moving high-pressure system is extending over the region, keeping low-pressure systems at bay and resulting in mild, calm weather conditions. An approaching low-pressure area from the Greenland Sea is predicted to bring a slight increase in easterly winds along the southern coastline during the evening, accompanied by some light rain.

For today, intermittent sunshine and dry weather are expected in most areas, with mild temperatures prevailing. Tonight and into tomorrow, Saturday, light southeasterly winds are anticipated, along with scattered precipitation. However, northern regions will enjoy dry conditions.

On Sunday, a shift to northerly winds is forecast, bringing partly cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain along the eastern coast, particularly in the Southeast region, where isolated showers may occur. Overall, cooler temperatures are expected in northern and eastern areas.

Looking ahead to next week, there is a likelihood of a more pronounced northerly wind, which will lead to a drop in temperatures. Precipitation in northern regions may predominantly fall as sleet or snow.
