In 1994, Terhi Jansson was driving from Jyväskylä to Forssa when she experienced an unexplainable event; three white lights appeared to follow her car, prompting a sense of unease. Suddenly, a blinding light descended upon her vehicle, obscuring her view. When the light dissipated, Jansson realized that a trip that should have taken three hours had extended to seven. “I am certain that during that time, aliens abducted me and took my eggs,” she claims.

Jansson’s experience is featured in the upcoming documentary “Touched by UFOs,” which highlights the accounts of three Finns who believe they had contact with extraterrestrial beings. Abduction experiences often leave individuals lacking precise memories, leading to lingering questions about their encounters.

Following her incident, Jansson reports unusual needle marks appearing on her body and waking up every few weeks on what she remembers as an operational table aboard a spacecraft. She alleges that five of her eggs were turned into hybrids—part human and part alien.

UFO researcher Jozsef Strausz has investigated numerous sightings in Finland, noting that over a thousand reports have been collected, with about 150 new sightings documented annually. He emphasizes that while some incidents can be explained by natural phenomena, a significant percentage remain unexplained.

In 1997, another peculiar case involved Asko Nummela, who while walking home on a cold night, felt compelled by a voice to turn back. Despite the warning, he continued only to experience an unusual warmth from a nearby structure, resulting in bizarre skin effects the following day, which he believes were caused by gamma radiation from an invisible spacecraft.

While some studies suggest these phenomena could stem from neurological functions, others, like Lehto and Häkkinen, contend that various interpretations of our experiences can explain our encounters with the unexplained. Ultimately, Jansson and others in Finland hope for an open-minded dialogue about their experiences and the potential implications of extraterrestrial contact.
