Icelandic Meteorological Office forecasts strong winds and rain across the country

The Icelandic Meteorological Office has forecasted strong winds today, ranging from 3 to 10 meters per second, accompanied by intermittent clouds. In the northwestern region, a southwest wind is expected at speeds of 8 to 15 meters per second, with the strongest gusts occurring in the Westfjords. Conditions are predicted to calm down this evening. While many areas can anticipate clearer skies, brief showers are likely in the western parts of the country.

Tomorrow’s forecast indicates an eastern wind at 3 to 10 meters per second, with partly cloudy conditions and light rain along the southern coast. Daytime temperatures are expected to range from 5 to 12 degrees Celsius, with some areas potentially experiencing slight frosts overnight.
