PCC Bakki Silicon seeks new CEO as Gestur Pétursson transitions to Environment and Energy Agency

PCC Bakki Silicon is currently seeking a new CEO as Gestur Pétursson, the current head of the silicon plant, is set to assume the role of CEO at the Environment and Energy Agency at the beginning of the new year. In a statement from PCC, it was announced that Gestur will remain with the company until a successor is appointed. Peter Wenzel, CEO of PCC SE, expressed gratitude for Gestur’s contributions and wished him success in his new position. Gestur has served as the CEO of PCC Bakki Silicon for two years, having taken on the role in September 2022.
