The Prime Minister’s call for broad political agreements involves issues that may not have immediate effects for several years. The government needs clarity on how it intends to address the budget deficit.

This statement was made by Bárður á Steig Nielsen, the head of the Union Party.

During the Ólavsøku celebration, Prime Minister Aksel V. Johannesen emphasized the necessity of encompassing political agreements on multiple issues. He expressed a desire for the government to engage in discussions about agreements concerning short-term policies as well.

The Prime Minister is hopeful for additional agreements, particularly regarding the budget bill, which is set to be presented on the first day of the session.
