Search and rescue operations are ongoing for Illes Benedek Incze in Vík í Mýrdal, located in southern Iceland. Incze, a resident of Vík, was last seen around 3 a.m. on Monday morning.

Rescue teams in the region were deployed around 6 p.m. yesterday evening, according to Jón Þór Víglundsson, spokesperson for the Icelandic Search and Rescue Association. He noted that efforts have continued throughout the night, with plans to reassess the situation in the morning. Drones and search dogs from the capital area have been utilized to assist in the search.
