Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen to visit Glasir school in Faroe Islands

Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen is set to visit the Glasir school later this month.

In February, teachers and students had a unique opportunity to speak with Mogensen while he was in space. During that interaction, it was agreed that he would visit Glasir upon his return to the Faroe Islands.

During his visit, Mogensen will address teachers, students, and apprentices. He will also present the national flag, which he took with him into space, to the National Museum.

Andreas Mogensen’s visit to Glasir is scheduled for September 24.
