Strong winds and yellow weather warnings issued for southern and southeastern Iceland

Today, strong easterly and northeasterly winds are expected, with speeds ranging from 10 to 18 m/s, and reaching 18 to 23 m/s in the southeastern part of the country and in the south until midday. Yellow weather warnings are in effect for southern and southeastern Iceland due to the strong winds, which are expected to persist until noon in the South and until 4 PM in the Southeast.
