Individuals who have completed their education at the Health School should receive well-documented work experiences when they pursue further studies. This is the opinion expressed by Vivie Kirke Davidsen, the director of the Health School in Suðuroy.

Tórbjørn Jacobsen, the mayor of Runavík municipality, stated on the radio yesterday that not all programs need to be adjusted in alignment with the Setrið institution. The director of the Health School supports this viewpoint.

According to the mayor, there needs to be a recognition of the diverse educational paths available, and not all should be directed towards one institution. This aligns with the growing conversation around tailoring vocational training to meet specific local and national needs, ensuring that they adequately prepare students for the job market. The focus is on maintaining relevance in training programs and providing graduates with the practical experience necessary to thrive in their future careers.

Further discussions are anticipated regarding the types of relevant qualifications needed to address current workforce demands effectively.
