Committee appointed for PKU card program in the Faroe Islands
The committee for the PKU card program has now been appointed.
The committee members include: Bjarni á Steig, Director of the Health Authority; Guðrið Andorsdóttir, Deputy Director of the Health Authority; Tummas í Garði, Deputy Director with a medical background from the Hospital Service; and Maria Skaalum Petersen, Head of the Health Research Unit within the Hospital Service.
Margit Stórá, the Minister of Health, announced the committee’s formation during the morning session of the program “Breddin.”
The PKU cards became available to the Faroese public in May.
Margit Stórá conveyed her dedication to the initiative in her appearance on the show.
