Friday 13th 2024 on 13:23 in
Faroe Islands

In the spring, Tróndur Olsen and Silas Olofson produced three episodes of the popular wildlife program “Sært tú fuglin.” Due to the show’s success, they are now set to record two new installments.

While the structure of the episodes will remain the same, some new elements will be introduced. This time, viewers are encouraged to submit content that will become part of the show. Tróndur and Silas are particularly looking for images and recordings of birds from the audience. Additionally, viewers can send in questions, which Silas will attempt to answer during the episodes.

The upcoming series is expected to showcase rare birds visiting the region in autumn. However, the specific locations for filming have not yet been revealed, although the duo plans to explore new areas in the Faroe Islands. In previous episodes, they visited Suðuroy, Sandoy, and Svínoy.

If you have interesting content about birds or a question, you can email [email protected].

Tróndur and Silas recently appeared on a morning broadcast, and their discussion can be listened to on the station’s website.
