Icelandic Meteorological Office issues yellow weather warnings for Southern and Southeastern regions due to storm

The Icelandic Meteorological Office has issued yellow weather warnings for the Southern and Southeastern regions due to a north-eastern storm expected tonight and tomorrow. These warnings will take effect at midnight. The alert for the Southern region is in place until noon tomorrow, while the warning for the Southeastern region will last longer, extending until 4 PM tomorrow. Special caution is advised for very sudden wind gusts in the mountainous areas under the Eyjafjöll mountains, as well as in Mýrdal and Öræfi.
