Bullying among students in schools has become more prevalent than before, but there are ways everyone can contribute to improving the situation.

This statement comes from Katrin av Kák, an educator at the Faculty of Educational Science at the University of the Faroe Islands.

A survey conducted last year indicates that 17 percent of students in the fifth, seventh, and ninth grades reported being bullied.

Katrin av Kák also discussed the changes in attitudes among students regarding this issue with the education publication “Skúlablaðið.”

For further insights, a segment in the radio news discusses this topic in detail.

The increasing rates of bullying highlight the need for collective efforts to foster a more supportive environment for all students.
