Residents of Kunoyar Municipality demand improved bus and ferry services following survey results

Residents of Kunoyar Municipality are calling for improved bus and ferry services, as well as better conditions for boats, according to a recent large-scale survey by Kringvarpi in connection with the local elections.

The survey reveals that 68 percent of respondents believe public transport should be prioritized more highly. One dissatisfied citizen is Brandur Klettskarð from Kongsstovu, who points out that the activities of Bakkafrosti, a local company, dominate the municipality’s budget in a way he considers excessive.
