Finnish President Sauli Niinistö and Dr. Jenni Haukio announce family relocation from Espoo to Helsinki

Finnish President Sauli Niinistö and his wife, Dr. Jenni Haukio, are relocating their entire family from Espoo to Helsinki. Haukio announced the move in a Facebook update, which has also been shared by Niinistö. According to Haukio, the family submitted their joint change of residence notice on July 30. Niinistö’s details regarding the move had not been made public due to a security protocol.

Earlier reports had suggested that Haukio was moving, but there were no indications that President Niinistö would be relocating as well. The first to report on Haukio’s post was the newspaper Ilta-Sanomat.
