Improvements to traffic conditions underway in Eiði, Faroe Islands

Improvements to traffic conditions at Eiði are underway, making it easier for motorhomes and larger vehicles to access the area near the camping grounds in the village.

Currently, the road is quite narrow, forcing larger vehicles to take lengthy detours to reach the camping site.

Eiði’s mayor, Annsy Høghamar, announced that Hans Egil Joensen & Sons has been contracted to construct a new access road, with the project budgeted at 2.3 million Danish krone.

This upgrade aims to alleviate congestion and enhance the experience for visitors utilizing the camping facilities and local attractions.
