A political shift within the Tórshavn City Council has drawn attention. Kári Johansen has left the Social Democratic Party and will now run for the Progressive Party in the upcoming municipal elections.

“The mayor has been working against me,” Kári Johansen stated, expressing his concerns about the council’s dynamics.

In light of these developments, we will speak with Ruth Vang, the chairwoman of the Progressive Party, and Heðin Mortensen, the mayor, who will provide political insights during our radio segment.

In addition, there will be another election for the representative council of the Better Association. As usual, candidates are using social media to encourage people to vote for them.

However, one candidate, Kim Hansen, is going against the trend with the intention of taking over the representative council.

We’ll also hear from two candidates for the council during the broadcast.

Tune in to experience the breadth of opinions on the radio and on kvf.fo at 10 AM.
