The Local Government Association fully supports the proposal for digital registry reform.

The Ministry of Environment has submitted a draft to amend the registry law for consultation.

The aim of this legal change is to achieve a fully digital registry system.

The assembly of mayors within the Local Government Association has reviewed the proposal and expresses its complete support for it.

The association also recommends that during this transitional period, the registry should become more digital than it currently is.

The association states that it will likely take many years to establish a specialized and efficient system for this purpose.

Therefore, the association strongly urges the political system to create the necessary legislative framework during this transitional period to make existing procedures more digital.
