Betri Banki reports net profit of 169.1 million kroner in 2023

In the first half of this year, Betri Banki reported a net profit of 169.1 million kroner after tax. The bank attributes this positive outcome mainly to increased interest income.

Loans have risen by 379 million kroner, bringing the total to 8.1 billion kroner. Over the past year, loans have increased by 451 million kroner, reaching 9.6 billion kroner, while the solvency ratio now stands at 34.7 percent.

The bank has reduced costs and made some services free, in addition to lowering loan interest rates. However, as interest rates are likely to decrease again, the management of Betri Banki expects a weaker performance in the second half of this year.
