Ugla Stefanía Kristjönudóttir Jónsdóttir elected to executive board of Pirate Party at annual meeting in Harpa

During the recent annual meeting held in Harpa, Ugla Stefanía Kristjönudóttir Jónsdóttir was elected to the executive board of the Pirate Party. Halldór Auðar Svansson was appointed as the chair of the board; he currently serves as the first city councilor for the party, a parliamentary alternate, and a programmer. Alongside Ugla, Þórhildur Elínardóttir Magnúsdóttir and Eva Sjöfn Helgadóttir were also selected for positions on the executive board.

The meeting witnessed significant attendance, with 19 candidates running for various positions. The voting process was conducted electronically. There was notable new membership within the party’s executive board as well as its policy and issue committee, contributing to a recent surge in registrations over the past month. Haukur Viðar Alfreðsson was elected as the party’s treasurer.
