The police in Reykjavik arrested a man who had caused damage at a hotel in the city center. A considerable crowd had gathered around the individual, and he reacted aggressively to the police’s intervention, resisting arrest. During the search, officers discovered a blunt weapon and illegal substances on him.

Additionally, during a routine traffic stop, police discovered the butt of a firearm in a car. The driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was promptly handcuffed. The firearm turned out to be a gas-operated shotgun, and further examination of the vehicle uncovered ammunition, a large knife, and suspected illicit drugs.
