Naddoddur fishing vessel to return to Faroe Islands after capsizing off Maløy coast

In a week, the fishing vessel Naddoddur will return to the Faroe Islands. It is expected to arrive in Sund aboard a ship operated by Navigare Shipping.

Currently, Naddoddur is in Maløy, Norway, after it capsized along the Norwegian coast on August 26. Six people were aboard the boat at the time of the incident; five were rescued, while one tragically lost their life.

The vessel has been brought ashore in Måløy. According to Bergur Jacobsen, chairman of the Naddoddi association, the boat appears to be intact based on photographs.
