Summer 2024 has been recorded as the hottest on record. For the second consecutive year, global temperature records were surpassed, according to data from the EU’s climate service, Copernicus.

Despite a reduction in food waste, Swedish households still discard edible food worth 14 billion kronor annually, as revealed by a report from the Swedish Food Agency.

In Jönköping, an explosion occurred near a barbecue grill during the night leading into Friday. Fortunately, police reported that no one was injured in the incident.
