Heavy flooding prompts evacuation at Shopping Center Stella in Mikkeli

Heavy gusts and torrential rain caused flooding today in downtown Mikkeli. Water accumulated in the lower level of Shopping Center Stella to such an extent that the center’s alarms went off, prompting the evacuation of the premises. Many shops also closed their doors due to the adverse weather conditions.
