Government committee reviews complaints against Dennis Holm and Ingilín Didriksen Strøm

The Government Affairs Committee is currently reviewing the complaints against Dennis Holm, the Minister of Fisheries, and Ingilín Didriksen Strøm, the Minister of Environment.

Holm is being accused of allowing a joint quota of 35,000 tons of black fish, which the trawler operators claim undermines their historical rights.

Ingílín Didriksen Strøm faces allegations of providing false information to the Parliament when she claimed she had not received any indications that the Housing and Mortgage Fund and Bústaðir were experiencing long-term maintenance issues.

The committee held a meeting regarding both complaints earlier today. However, Hans Jacob Thomsen, the chairperson of the committee, stated that while all necessary information has now been reviewed, no conclusions will be reached until later this month.

The two complaints are distinct, but the committee chair expects that decisions regarding both will be announced simultaneously.
