Faroe Islands faces significant economic deficit of half a billion Danish kroner

This year, the Faroe Islands are facing a significant economic deficit of half a billion Danish kroner, as revealed by the Economic Council during a recent presentation of the autumn report.

The current situation in the Faroese economy is causing concern for the Minister of Finance. Johnny í Grótinum, Chairman of the Economic Council, will appear on the radio to discuss these issues.

The broadcast will also feature a discussion between members of the government and the opposition in the Finance Committee. Eyðgunn Samuelsen and Eirikur í Jákupsstovu will represent the government, while Beinir Johannesen and Steffan Klein Poulsen will represent the opposition.
