Vattenfall delays wind farm project at Kriegers Flak due to unfavorable investment conditions

Kriegers Flak is located approximately 30 kilometers south of Trelleborg, within the economic zone shared by Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. Vattenfall has long been planning a large wind farm in this area. In 2022, the project received approval from the government; however, Vattenfall has now announced that the investment conditions are not favorable. The wind farm was initially expected to begin operations in 2028, but Vattenfall has stated that this timeline is no longer achievable.
