Stabbing incident reported on Karl Johans Gate near Oslo Cathedral in Norway

A stabbing incident occurred on Karl Johans Gate near Oslo Cathedral. A man has been transported to the hospital for further treatment and is assessed to be seriously injured, according to operations leader Øyvind Hammervold from the Oslo police district.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. “We have a significant police presence in the area to gather witness statements and map out the sequence of events. So far, no one has been apprehended, but we are working diligently with a large team to locate those responsible,” Hammervold stated.

The police received reports of the stabbing shortly after midnight.
