Venetsialaiset festival brings end-of-summer celebrations to Finland

The holiday season comes to a close during the waning days of August, marked by the celebration of “Venetsialaiset.” This end-of-summer festival, which has spread from the coast to the inland areas, evokes feelings of outdoor bonfires, music, and cottage gatherings for many. Urban celebrations also reflect the festivities, featuring lights and events throughout the cities.
