Landsverk received six proposals for temporary storage space for the National Museum, with the submission deadline closing on Monday afternoon.

The museum’s current storage facility has been confirmed to have a blue mold issue, which poses a risk to the artifacts.

Consequently, all items must be cleaned and relocated to new storage as soon as possible.

The locations of the submitted proposals are spread across the country, encompassing both old and new buildings. Additionally, there is one proposal for constructing new storage facilities.

A closer examination of the proposals, pricing, and buildings will now take place.

The bids will be assessed based on their location, size, and potential for customizing the lease terms, as well as access conditions, parking arrangements, and anticipated availability of the leased space.

The new storage area should measure between 500 to 1,000 square meters and be at least three meters tall.

It is expected that two or three staff members will work there.
