Denmark’s Miss Jensen’s Cookbook premieres at Randers Teater with sold-out tickets

Denmark’s best-selling cookbook has been transformed into a theatrical production, and Randers Teater reports that tickets for “Miss Jensen’s Cookbook” are completely sold out for its premiere today. The culinary classic originates from the eastern Jutland town where author Kristine Marie Jensen was born in an inn on Vestergade, before later moving to Copenhagen.

Actress Bodil Jørgensen takes on the role of the author, describing Miss Jensen as an exceptional cook who aimed to assist housewives struggling with cooking. “Through her incredible entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking, she sold numerous cookbooks throughout her life and reached a wide audience,” the actress shares.
