Marius Borg Høiby arrived at Pisa International Airport just before 6:30 PM on Wednesday, reportedly to attend a wedding in Italy this weekend. His lawyer, Øyvind Bratlien, confirmed that Høiby traveled upon his advice but declined to comment further on the details of the trip. When approached for comments, Høiby reportedly responded, “Not at all.”

The 27-year-old, the son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit, faces charges of assault and vandalism related to an incident that occurred in Oslo on August 4. Mette Yvonne Larsen, the attorney representing the women involved in the case, also refrained from commenting.

Earlier this week, Høiby was questioned by police, with his lawyer indicating that he would be interviewed multiple times, although the dates for these sessions have yet to be confirmed. During the initial questioning, Høiby did not address the allegations of violence, threats, and vandalism against him.

Two of his ex-girlfriends, Nora Haukland and Julianne Snekkestad, have accused him of violence and threats and have been designated as victims in the case. While Høiby is not officially charged in these specific accusations, he is under investigation for domestic abuse following the police’s initiation of several inquiries.

Both ex-girlfriends have been interviewed by the police, with Snekkestad undergoing her fourth and possibly final police questioning on Wednesday. Her lawyer, Petter Grødem, indicated they are awaiting Høiby’s explanation. Meanwhile, John Christian Elden, Haukland’s attorney, commented that it seems unorthodox for Høiby to travel when he has stated he has more to clarify regarding the allegations. Efforts to reach the police for further comments have so far been unsuccessful.
