Body of missing woman found after Naddoddur capsizes off Norwegian coast

The body of a woman who had been missing since yesterday afternoon when the vessel Naddoddur capsized off the Norwegian coast has been found.

Norwegian authorities have confirmed the discovery to local media. The woman, in her twenties, is originally from Mexico but resides in Orlando, Florida, USA. The body was located a few hundred meters away from the Naddoddur.

Vincent Roos from JRCC Stavanger confirmed the news, stating that the woman has indeed been found.

At the time of the incident, there were six people aboard the Naddoddur, and the other five managed to survive. The survivors included four individuals from Switzerland and a Faroese citizen, Livar Nysted from Hvannasund, who communicated with his family last night to inform them he was safe.

The Naddoddur had set sail from a boating association in Tvøroyri on Saturday afternoon, after several delays due to weather conditions.
