Hau-Hau Champion faces product defect allegations in Finland

The dog food brand Hau-Hau Champion is currently facing allegations of a product defect concerning its 500-gram roll package, as stated in a press release from the manufacturer, Prima Pet Premium. The company’s CEO, Timo Pärssinen, informed STT that the product should not be given to dogs until further notice due to these concerns. Samples of the product have been sent to a laboratory for testing, with results expected to take at least a week to arrive.

Pärssinen noted that a decision about a possible product recall might be made as early as this morning. As of yesterday afternoon, the company has received approximately 15 inquiries related to the product, with reports suggesting that it may have caused vomiting and other signs of distress in dogs.
