The case is currently being updated. The victim was assaulted by the defendant just seconds after she saw her. On Tuesday, the second victim testified about the events that took place at the Saupstad Health Center in Trondheim on November 23 of last year.

The victim was in a hurry that morning, having just finished a consultation. She was on her way to the laboratory to check a test result when she spotted the defendant at the reception. As she attempted to enter the laboratory, the defendant approached her aggressively, speaking incomprehensibly and flailing her arms, striking the victim multiple times on the neck and throat.

The victim estimated she was hit about thirty times while trying to deflect the blows. In court, she stated she did not use any violence but instead attempted to calm the defendant down. A colleague helped her into another room, where the victim noticed blood running down her neck.

The injuries included a 7-9 cm cut on the left side of her neck and the back of her head, requiring five stitches, and other cuts on her left hand.

Shortly after the victim managed to isolate herself, she heard loud banging and screams outside the room. It turned out to be her colleague Lise, who had been stabbed in both thighs by the defendant. The testimony revealed a sense of fear and trauma from the attack, with Lise remembering the defendant’s eyes as being completely black.

Following the incident, the defendant, who claimed she had a knife for sharpening, denied using it, asserting that the employees had attacked her instead. The health center has since increased its security measures, including installing cameras and implementing electronic access control for visitors.
