Plans for cemetery expansion in Fuglafjørður

Plans are underway to expand the cemetery in Fuglafjørður, with a public proposal for changes to the local zoning regulations for the municipality now available.

The proposal seeks to reclassify two plots from “residential and housing area” to “public institutions.” These documents can be viewed at the municipal office.

The municipality of Fuglafjørður already owns both plots, along with the residential properties located on one of them.

Any objections or suggestions for amendments must be submitted to the Fuglafjørður municipality by October 8th at the latest.
