The crew of the sailboat Naddoddi is currently in good spirits after completing a 24-hour row. The vessel is situated north of Shetland, according to Bergur Jacobsen, chairman of the Naddoddi boat club, who has been in contact with the captain onboard.

Originally set to depart on August 19, Naddoddi had to remain at Tvøroyri due to poor weather conditions before finally heading toward Norway yesterday afternoon.

The purpose of this journey is to navigate the route in an open boat, mirroring the journeys of the Vikings over a thousand years ago.
