At a construction site in Helsinki, unexpected guests made an appearance. Workers at the Kruunusillat Korkeasaari project spotted a glimpse of a black tail behind a break room. “A small kitten had wandered onto our large construction site and scampered into a pipe to hide,” the Kruunusillat tram project stated on Facebook.

To care for the little intruder, the team quickly provided milk and tuna, leaving the food at the end of the pipe for the kitten. The food was a hit; the kitten emptied the plate completely.

The construction team then contacted the nearby Korkeasaari Zoo for assistance, and together they successfully captured the tiny feline. Zoo employees transported the kitten to the Viikki Animal Rescue Center, where it was determined to be male. There, the kitten will have a safer start to life.
