Faroe Islands

As the municipal elections approach, Kringvarp Føroya will soon publish a significant survey conducted by Lóður, which gathers opinions from residents across all municipalities regarding various local issues.

“This is a massive survey with around 3,000 participants throughout the Faroe Islands responding to questions about municipal matters. What is particularly interesting is that we cover all 29 municipalities, effectively creating 29 smaller surveys aggregated into one, providing insights we have never had before,” explained Heri á Rógvi, one of the directors at Lóður.

He continued, “This is an incredibly comprehensive survey, allowing us to gauge general public opinion on matters such as childcare, city planning, and more. Additionally, we can compare responses between different municipalities.” á Rógvi emphasized that such a survey has not been conducted in the Faroe Islands before.

This initiative aims to enhance public discourse and understanding of community dynamics ahead of the elections.
