The royal couple’s summer tour of Denmark, which has taken them through regions including Bornholm, Ærø, Assens, and Vejle, is drawing to a close. Citizens of all ages have turned out in large numbers to warmly welcome the couple, waving flags, displaying banners, and extending handshakes.

The festivities included joyous gatherings in Ekkodalen on Bornholm, hikes along Voderup Klint on Ærø, and baking sessions at Kong Gauers Gård in Børkop, near Vejle, which houses both a daycare and a nursing home. This evening, the summer tour culminated on the royal ship at Vejle Harbour, where the couple hosted a reception for invited guests.
